Intended Result

In chiropractic the only intended result is fulfilling the chiropractic objective, that of correcting vertebral subluxations so that the forces of the innate intelligence of the body can be more fully expressed.  Once you have fulfilled that objective your job is done. Everything else is done by the innate intelligence of the body. That is what separates OSC from all other systems.

    • Bob,

Don’t you find it interesting that chiropractors only talk and argue about things that are not mentioned in the 33 principles… things like technique, analysis, adjustment, health, sickness, symptoms, etc… without even referring to those 33 principles as authority and tenets of chiropractic?

      • Claude, I wish chiropractors knew enough about the 33 principles to know what “things that are not mentioned…”. Do you think that chiropractors who argue “things like technique, analysis, adjustment, health, sickness, symptoms, etc… without even referring to those 33 principles as authority and tenets of chiropractic?” see the opinions of BJ as not merely his opinion but carrying the same authority as the 33 principles. I very much appreciate hearing/reading BJ’s (and everyone else’s opinion for that matter). I just wish there was a way in which we could separate fact (principle) from opinion, mine included but I am able to view it as just that …opinion and not principle (except for my opinions…but I have enough detractors to do that for me). In not separating principle from opinion do we run the risk of people, mostly chiropractors, rejecting our entire philosophy (throwing out the baby with the bath water). Just a thought…”what do you tink about dat?” Man,I haven’t heard you say that for many years, you’re really getting a grasp of the King’s English:)

The NEW possibility I am inventing for myself and my life is the possibility of love, understanding, compassion and generosity. –

            – What I tink about dat is dat once again you’re right on! Chiropractic is separate and distinct from EVERYTHING ELSE since chiropractic has a philosophy, science, art and an objective which is to LACVS for a full expression of the innate forces of the innate intelligence of the living body. PERIOD! Dat is the AUTHORITY of chiropractic! The authority is NOT vested in a person. The authority is vested in the 33 principles… until someone can prove the 33 principles wrong… I’ve attempted to do it for 40 years… I have NOT succeeded to do it. The 33 principles are stable, strong and stand on their own truth… believe it or not. 😉

  1. Wu wie …from Wiki ( added by me)
The Sage is occupied with the unspoken (intelligence)
and acts without effort ( of additional motivation).

Teaching without verbosity ( by offering uncluttered information),
producing without possessing ( as I do not own the inteligence I work with),
creating ( by adjusting) without regard to result ( in matter),
claiming nothing ( but achievment of goal),
the Sage has nothing to lose ( when principles are applied).

  2. Agreed (I think)… unless one would like to “argue” that chiropractors don’t really correct subluxations (the body does) but simply apply a physical force to the body (in a specific manner) helping the body to do so.
