Is Universal Intelligence Theistic Evolution?

  1. I think a theistic evolution fan might object. God, I think they would say, “uses” evolution to make news species. Actively. Over time. Deism means God created the all the nessecary pre-conditions that would at some time, eventuate the universe, material and non-material (wound up the watch so to speak) and leaves it alone. No input along the way after starting. The crazy thing is by definition neo-Darwinian evolution says the whole process is random and nondirected (no agent causation), therefore, void of purpose and direction. Seems theistic evolution has to be internally inconsistent. Though smarter folks than I defend it I can’t make sense of it.

  2. Universal intelligence is 100% complete (pri4 and 7)… Universal intelligence IS perfect… therefore it cannot evolve into something more than perfection. We together, without condemnation, can conclude that universal intelligence is NOT theistic evolution.

    • That holds true for innate intelligence also. Does that mean that everything (in the way of living organisms) that exists today is at best the same as the initial creation or at worst only a degradation of the (genetic)matter due to the negative effects upon the (limitations of) matter by universal forces.

  3. Joseph,

There is an evolutionary process continually at work in e/matter. Electrons, protons and neutrons are always structurally reconfigured at different velocities (pri1). It’s the universal cycle of deconstruction and reconstruction (pri26) of an evolutionary e/matter with ALWAYS the SAME complete elements of the universe (pri5). Seems quite a paradox to me.

    Does it to you?
