Immutability and Principles

The expression of principles can be interfered with. The law of gravity is an example. Holding an object in your hand interferes with it hitting the ground. They can be altered or changed. That’s what stepping on a scale does. Even the 33 principles does. (principles #11, 24. Yet theology(at least Judaeo Christian theology says that God is immutability. Therefore, the principles are not God ore God is changeable… a statement which is considered blasphemous.

  1. Isn’t it the expression of the principal that’s being interfered with not the principal itself. Holding an object in your hand interferes with the expression of gravity not gravity itself. Gravity is a force created by universal intelligence. matter is what expresses that force of gravity, The law of gravity. it’s matter which has the limitation. That’s what defines its properties and actions. it’s matter which expresses force. This is all a game of semantics. Isnt a principal a truth. isn’t blasphemy an interference of God’s law

    • We must distinguish between the principle and the expression of that principle. The principle is the attraction of masses. The expression depends upon the matter, eg. the matter size, weight and other laws (getting in an airplane which the law of flight temporarily superceds gravity, law of gaseous e-matter in a balloon temporarily supersedes gravity. some limitations of matter can only can be (perhaps)affected by another law one of “supernatural interference”. which are called miracles and fall into the category of theology/religion. They are not natural laws and are not relevant to chiropractic philosophy.

    • You are correct David. That’s what P. #4 IS ALL , not that the law can be revoked but that the manifestation expression of universal laws can only be interfered with by affecting the matter. It is the the material aspect can be interfered with.gravity/aeronautical laws. These are changes of the matter of P.#4. It does not change the principle, just its expression. I made the same mistake that the TSC does with regard to P.#23 without explaining P.24,#25. Weplaing one and and without acknowledging the others. I stand corrected

  2. Dr. Strauss you are assuming that “gravity” is a law. (Opening a whole can of worms.) Universal laws govern all of God’s creation so therefore the 33 principals are Truth, even though they can be interfered with. I interpret your statement as a way of describing Freewill or can the principals and Universal Laws only be interfered with by divine intervention? Hence when Jesus and the apostles, that he charged with the ability, healed the sick!?! I don’t know, just throwing out my first thots.

      • Thanks for your reply. In chiropractic philosophy the natural laws govern ui but not the principals or expression of principals. When an adjustment is made nerve flow is increased, to as close to 100% as possible, which alters the expression but we cannot alter or change natural laws so that’s why you say they have nothing to do with chiropractic philosophy?
