Ecological Illiteracy

How can we know what is right for the organism called “Mother Nature” or the earth? Most environmental ideas do more harm than good. Perhaps as with the human organism, the best we can hope to do is remove the interference.

  1. Based on the definitions provided NTOSC have the objective of LACVS for the full expression of innate forces of the innate intelligence of the body. This is accomplished by the administration of an adjustic thrust into the vertebrae of the living person. NTOSC are those who choose to practice the objective of chiropractic.

I find this issue a gray area in that the NTOSCor does not provide advice on religion, medical issues or other therapeutic fields of healthcare but would feel inclined to provide advice on ecological issues. Why limit due to lack of training in one field (therapeutics) and then not do the same in another (ecology)?

Does this line of thinking take us closer to or further away from the NTOSC objective?

    • Don, sorry, I apparently was not clear. We do not give advice in the ecological field, because our educated intelligence is as limited as everyone else’s. I don’t know whether plastic grocery bags are better for the environment than paper and the environmentalists have flip flopped on the issue. That was my point. I do know that either of them blowing around in my yard are not good so I personally pick them up ( remove that interference to the environment.) I do not tell my PMs that picking up trash is part of chiropractic and I do not believe that anyone would make that mistake. We as chiropractors are allowed to have personal opinions as long as they are not mistaken for “health” advice. I have no problem with sharing my faith with a PM but I will not lead them to believe that ui is God or that the adjustment is going to make them one with God.Does that help clarify it?

      • Joe, I guess it was my mistake, I was interpreting this as advice and not a personal opinion.
I’m sure you were not doing this but I know some people who attempt to offer opinions as advice…. if you know what I mean.
