On Making our Philosophy a Personal Matter

The privatization of our chiropractic philosophy in a pluralistic organization (like the chiropractic profession) necessitates the subjugation and subversion of any thinking that may create differences. Every thinking person knows that to imprison a sacred and core belief within the private realm is ultimately to fracture if not kill the belief. Creating a privatization of … Read more

A Little History

When for the last 100+ years the medical profession has attacked us by (correctly) asserting that we were not competent at treating disease, we claimed that was not what we were doing. All the while we were working to become competent at doing just that. Today, we (or at least a significant part of our profession) say … Read more

Q&A #39

How do we scientifically prove/demonstrate  our  philosophical objective, that of enabling the innate intelligence of the body’s forces  to be more fully expressed, when we do not use symptoms as a criteria?

Loyalty

We often must choose between loyalty to a principle (objective) and loyalty to a person (a practice management consultant). B.J. (a person) or the philosophy (a principle), even though most of the philosophy was given to us by B.J. Loyalty to an authority/person should not be in conflict with the principle. If it is, principle trumps.

Timing

The timing of the innate intelligence of the body is always perfect. The only thing that prevents its perfect execution are limitations of the matter carrying the message.

We have to have a vision bigger than ourselves-Liam Schubel, D.C. Having that vision requires humility. The chiropractic vision involves the innate intelligence of the body, allowing its full expression. That is a vision greater than ourselves and greater than anything the educated brain can think of or do.

Deduction…

…comes from the French and means to take away. (That’s why we use the term “deduction” for tax purposes.) The idea in philosophy is to take away error so that you are left with only truth. In a similar manner, science tries to disprove theories and when they cannot, they accept it as a fact.
