Universal intelligence, innate intelligence and the chiropractic philosophy surrounding them are a focal point within the two world views. If we are totally material then nothing matters but the condition of the matter, the disease.

1. How is UI, II and Chiro. Philo part of the OIBU view?
2. Material, matters more than you think. Fully 2/3 of the 33 principles discuss “material” (matter, structure, nerve, body). It would seem as if the matter was important to the founders. If it were not for matter, intelligence would have no purpose, force would have no expression, time would have no relevance, organization would be unnecessary, and life as we know it would cease to exist. Just because we focus upon the transmission of intelligent force, that does not negate the importance of the material end product, does it? If it were not for the dis-ease of the matter where would we be? Historically, if it were not for disease, where would we be?
Steve, My thoughts:1. Too often we human beings have inconsistent W&L viewpoints that are contradictory. That’s why BJ said he could never understand why the preacher talked above-down on Sunday and lived his life outside-in the rest of the week.
2. Good point Steve. We are dealing with material bodies. We affect the matter to improve the matter in order to improve the expression of the FORCE to the degree that the ii of the body desires it. Outside-in affects the matter to improve the matter to the degree that the educated intelligence of the doctor outside the patient thinks that the matter inside the patient should be. Which is more important, affecting the matter by enabling the principle of life which has been doing the job since life began or by affecting the matter by the finite mind of man using 4 years of 9 months.
Historically, if it were not for the institution of slavery, where would our country be today?
Growing up in a chiropractic house, I used to believe the only good MD was a retired MD. Having lived a half century I have come to the conclusion there is a place for both. As you well know, medical (4 of 9) care at times is invaluable. Which brings us back to W/L view.
Socrates: “The unexamined life is not worth living”
It seems most people, including preachers and chiropractors, have no practical knowledge of how to apply ADIO in their daily lives, that is if they recognize it exists.
Dragging out that old, ever energetic aphorism: All mind, never matter; all matter, never mind.
