I believe that the vision for chiropractic is as different as the number of people who practice it. However, most straight chiropractic practitioners have a very similar vision. Our vision is regular chiropractic care for every member of the human race from birth until death. Differences only occur with regard to the technique employed in giving that care and what constitutes regular care. Our vision includes having individuals know why they are coming regularly to the chiropractor so that the inborn ability of their body to express life to its fullest is not being impeded as a result of an interference in the nervous system due to a vertebral subluxation. They may have a diagnosed medical condition or think they have a medical condition but they do not come to the chiropractor for that condition. They come because they know that whatever their condition and whether they choose to treat it medically, ignore it or use an “alternative healing system,” (which chiropractic is not), their body will have a better opportunity to respond in a positive manner if it is as free of vertebral subluxations as possible. Our vision includes having individuals understand that every aspect of their life and performance will be enhanced by having vertebral subluxation corrected regularly and undertake care for that purpose. Our vision also involves the world having an understanding of and embracing the Above-Down Inside-Out world and life viewpoint which they are able to apply to their health as well as all other areas of their life. By doing this they will assume the responsibility for their life and well being, become more independent, have more freedom and experience a richer, fuller more abundant life.v13n2
