The Non-therapeutic Objective

The objective of “correcting the cause of all disease” may even be correct as the Palmers presented it. But from a practical and philosophical standpoint, it doesn’t always happen. However, the statement implies that it does, or at the least gives people an unreasonable expectation. That is why the non-therapeutic chiropractor has created an objective that is true, worthwhile and not confusing or misleading.

  1. If the “get sick people well” idea “may be correct as the Palmers presented it”, then would it be fair (even advantageous) to present both sides to the PM in the Orientation? Still letting them know how YOU understand it, but at least presenting the very obvious duality that exists.

The advantage here is that you are forcing the PM to decide what Chiropractic camp they fall in. You have bypassed the entire conversation on the “validity” of Chiropractic, and gone straight to the value of having subluxations corrected. In other words then the PM is deciding who was right Reggie or BJ just like us…..

    • Good point Damien. Do you think that it might mke them sound like kooks. wouldn’t it be easier to say tha the body works at less than it should and leave it at that? Didn’t Harpe, former president of TCC, write a book ANYTHING CAN CAUSE ANYTHING

    • Jason, the hyphen always bothered me. Chiropractors seems to think tha DIS-EASE is the cause of disease. DIS-EASE is, like diseaseis a medical term that Palmer adopted. It always seems to occur at the end of a line and is confusing t me. I think we should find another term that is clearer.

      • Hey Joe,
You know I hate to disagree with you but dis-ease is one cause of disease. It is just not the only one. Illness is one result of subluxation, not the only one. It works both ways. Anything less than 100% Innate function is demonstrated by a lack of adaptation or an increase in the limits of matter, which we could also call disease. Other wise why bother adjusting people if not to increase functionating. The principles of ADIO must have a practical aplication, better function. I believe some people do get “well” only because they recieved chiropractic care, but that is my personal opinion.
Dis-ease as classically defined has no medical connotation. Until medicine recognises the mental impulse, subluxation or even Intelligence, force and matter, that term is part of our unique lexicon.
As a side note, I prefer BJ’s term of “tissue insanity” (much better description of the matter) for the final result of subluxations.

        • – Interference with transmission of innate forces causes incoordination of dis-ease (pri.30). –
          – Interference with transmission in the body is always directly or indirectly due to subluxations in the spinal column (pri.31). –
          – Coordination is the principle of harmonious action of all the parts of an organism, in fulfilling their offices and purposes (pri.32). –

          – First of all, innate forces (mental impulses with intelligent direction) are transmitted through and over the nerve system within the LIVING human body. In other words, mental impulses FLOW with EASE through or over the nerve system within the LIVING body. –

          – Second, an external invasive force CAN overcome and internal resistive force and CAUSE a vertebral subluxation. –

          – Third, a vertebral subluxation is a vertebra that has lost its juxtaposition with the one above, the one below or both, to an extent less than a luxation, occluding an opening, impinging upon a nerve and interfering with the FLOW of mental impulses from brain cell to tissue cell and vice-versa. The interference is a state of the matter between brain cell and tissue cell, AND between tissue cell and brain cell. –

          – Fourth, a vertebral subluxation that occludes an opening and that impinges upon a nerve, ALTERS the transmitting matter of that nerve which CAUSES an interference with the transmission of the FLOW of mental impulse causing the FLOW to lack EASE, thus the term DIS-EASE. DIS-EASE is a state of the transmitting matter (nerve tissue) and further increases the limitation of matter of the LIVING body. –

          – Fifth, this lack of EASE of the FLOW (interference with transmission) of the mental impulse with intelligent direction (innate force) reverts the mental impulse back into a nerve impulse without intelligent direction (universal force) and is called DIS-EASE and as stated above is a state of the transmitting matter. –

          – Sixth, WHEN the nerve impulse without intelligent direction (universal force) reaches the tissue cell, it violates the principle of coordination by creating incoordination of action (pri.32). In other words, the action of the parts of the body receiving the nerve impulse without intelligent direction are performed without harmonious action, thus the term incoordination. –

          – Seventh, WHEN principle #32 is violated, the parts of the LIVING human body do NOT fully express the innate forces of the innate intelligence of the body. The TRIUNE has been violated. –

          – Eight, the objective of chiropractic is to LACVS for a full expression of the innate forces of the innate intelligence of the body. PERIOD! –

          – Ninth, the objective of chiropractic to restore the integrity of the second united factor of the TRIUNE which is FORCE by LACVS which restores the FLOW of mental impulses (transmission of INNATE FORCES) from a lack of ease (dis-ease) back to EASE. –

          – Tenth, the NTOSC is one WHO chooses to practice the objective of chiropractic. PERIOD!

      • Dr. Lessard,
This is a well written summary. Thanks for the post.

Just a point I would like to clarify.
..interfering with the FLOW of mental impulses from brain cell to tissue cell and vice-versa. The interference is a state of the matter between brain cell and tissue cell, AND between tissue cell and brain cell.

Are you referring to Physical brain cell or something else?
