The Chiropractic Profession's Conundrum

Co*nun*drum  –  b: an intricate and difficult problem (Webster).

On one hand, we want to have a feeling of self-esteem and self-worth as a profession. On the other hand, we have to admit our limitations if we insist on comparing ourselves to the medical profession in the area of treating disese.  What’s the answer?

  1. IMHO, the answer is to derive one’s self-esteem and self-worth from the beauty and simplicity of the Objective (non-therapeutic) chiropracTIC philosophy… and the PRCATICE of its application.

  2. The answer is to comprehensively operate on the KISS PRINCIPAL.
That is, ‘keep it simple, stupid’.
Maybe, with some luck, we can, after the transition that this country is going through, totally eschew the over-regulation that has been incrementally forced on this profession by the useful idiots from both within and without. Chiropractic must be free of the matrix. The system in which chiropractic finds itself is BROKEN and must be discarded.

    • Chiropractic itself is bent, if not broken. At a seminar this weekend the Dr said Chiropractic was about connecting Universal Intelligence with Innate Intelligence and aberrant afferent signals could be corrected by high velocity adjustments thereby restoring Innate Intelligence’s ability to make correct decisions. All this after repeatedly saying the schools don’t teach “Chiropractic” because “they” don’t get it.

  3. Self esteem comes, in large part, from doing the right thing for the right reason in spite of what others may say. (or think or do)
We should be grateful we have a set of principles to follow that are logical, reasonable and stand the test of time.

  4. When you have a safe, effective method of helping the body function and no one else does it why would you want to chase after treatment which is available on every street corner.

It is sad some CHIROPRACTORS do not embrace CHIROPRACTIC.

Keep turning them on one spine at a time….
