One thing the recent pro and anti CCE internet conversation has shown us is that neither side has a corner on vitriol, naivety, or an ability to present an emotional argument with absolutely no facts at hand. All of that could be rectified if each side was armed with an understanding of the history of this conflict, their professional objectives and a respect for the other side’s vision for the future of chiropractic. We cannot force that knowledge on the other side but it sure behooves us to know what and why we believe like we do and be able to articulate it. Sad but true. The sacred trust that we are summoned to guard well will be accomplished by objective straight chiropractors like yourself who will stand for what is right and wash themselves of all compromise. BIG people are always being called to revealed themselves as leaders and guardians of this AMAZING chiropractic. I used to think that a unified profession would do it. It’s not happening. Then I thought that a “guru” type leader will make it happen by rallying a substantial group to move forward. It’s not happening. Politics. Not. Sherman. Nope. Spinology. Naahh. What’s left is the “remnant”. The few… the CALLED… the CHOSEN…. Those who say YES over and over and over and over again. Those who CHOOSE to persist with their determination and having the will to endure to the end, to get knocked down seventy times and get up off the floor saying: “Here goes number seventy-one!” We may not like it… yet we LOVE that way… as it is the ONLY way… the narrow way!
