The Adjustic Thrust

We refineuniversal forces by our educatedly-directed, specific, adjustic thrusts so that they may be used by the innate intelligence of the body. They are then converted into innate forces in order for the innate intelligence to make an adjustment.

  1. Joseph,

I’m not sure we can “refine” universal forces. We can use our educated intelligence to adapt UF within our own limitations and introduce the adapted UF at the specific site of the subluxated vertebra with the intent that it will be used by the innate intelligence of the body of the practice member…. Then they are converted into innate forces, by the innate intelligence of the body, to make the adjustment. –

    • …. we might even be introducing an “educated force” (EF) which is limited by our EI and needs to be adapted by the innate intelligence of the body and converted into innate force to make the adjustment.

      • Claude, I would hope that is what we are doing….introducing an educatedly (directed) universal force or an EUF. Our chiropractic lexicon just keeps increasing!

    • Claude, I would define what you have described above as a refinement in contrast to pushing them down the basement steps to facilitate the adjustment.

    • Alright, now your confusing me. Up until this post we had 2 entities II or UI, either if or uf, an innate brain and a physical brain, each with it’s own job or duty. Now you are suggesting a gray zone, does educated intelligence also adapt UF.? If so, to what?
Joe says refine (free from impurities or defects, make polished). Claude says adapt ( fit, adjust, align to,acclimatize). (Princ. 12) There can be interference to the transmission of universal forces, is that what you are describing? Is the chiropractor “interfering” with UF.? I thought Innate intelligence adapted UF into innate forces, now you suggest educated intelligence can do something similar? What is an adapted universal force, is it no longer deconstructive, does it now have solicitude for the body, has it become a “living” force?
Perhaps FOCUS would best describe the accumulating and directing and delivering of UF. No implication of altering or creating or manipulating the force of the universe, we basically gather, aim and release. Chiropractors focus universal forces to the subluxated vertebrae in an adjustic thrust, to be used by innate intelligence of the body specifically for the innate brain to adapt or modify into innate forces capable of realigning the vertebrae thereby removing nerve interference the cause of dis-ease.

      • Steve,

It is me WHO choose to use my educated intelligence. In doing so, I use my educated brain which is that part of the brain used by the innate intelligence of my body as an organ for reason, memory, education, the so called voluntary functions. Voluntary pertains to my will. Even though it is my will, I cannot use it or anything else for that matter without the innate intelligence of my body. –

        – Therefore, it is me WHO choose to introduce an educated thrust, which is an educated universal force with limited intelligent direction, “focused” specifically into the subluxated vertebra with the intent of having the innate intelligence of the body of the practice member use that EUF and changes its character into an innate force to make the adjustment. –

        – Notice that limited intelligent direction of educated universal force implies destructive toward structural matter as compared to unlimited intelligent direction of innate forces which implies constructive toward structural matter. In other words, the adjustive thrust always carries an element of destructiveness and that is WHY it needs to be transformed into an innate force by the innate intelligence of the body to be constructive for the practice member’s body. –

        – And further more, that is exactly WHY, it is the innate intelligence of the body of the practice member that makes the adjustment!

        • Hey Claude,
Be careful, it almost sounds like you’re saying innate intelligence originates the thrust. If you have the time and inclination would you please explain how innate directs educated, yet we don’t say it is an innate thrust.
I do like the term “educated universal force”, did you coin that term yourself, I don’t recall hearing it before?

          • Steve,

            – I’m not saying that innate intelligence originates the thrust. WHAT I’m saying is that without innate intelligence sending mental impulses to my educated brain, I could not have memory, reason or will. These are functions of the educated brain and my educated brain is under the direct control of the innate intelligence of my body the same way as my stomach or my liver. What innate intelligence directs is my educated brain which produces memory, reason and will and all other so-called voluntary functions. –

            – It is me WHO choose to originate the thrust with my educated intelligence producing voluntary muscular movement to produce the thrust. I direct my educated intelligence for better or for worse. That’s WHY it is an educated universal force which is limited in intelligent direction, unlike innate force which is limitless in intelligent direction. –

            – I did coin that term from the many conversations I have with Strauss every week. πŸ˜‰

  2. Joseph,

You are correct in HOPING that it’s what we are doing.
The way some chiropractors thrust into the spine, in some cases pushing them down the basement steps might be better. πŸ˜‰

  3. Well done Claude ol’ boy….. and well said.
So innate intelligence directs and harmonizes the cells of the physical brain so it can do it’s job of thinking thereby creating educated intelligence. II also maintains the cells/ tissue of the voluntary muscles but educated intelligence tells them when to contract?
What if it it is a “reflex”, can ii. bypass ei. and stimulate voluntary muscles directly? It seems so since reflexes can occur before conscious awareness?

    Reply
      • …. metabolism would also fall into that category, would it not? Ex: peristaltic movements, serous circulation, vascular circulation, breathing, etc… all done before conscious awareness, specially during sleep.

        Reply
        • Hey Claude,
These (peristaltic movements, serous circulation, vascular circulation, breathing), are not voluntary, so would we say they are run directly from innate brain, through physical brain without educated intelligence? {WARNING} this may be a trick question as some functions mentioned above (ie. breathing) can ALSO be controlled consciously with educated intelligence.

  4. Joseph,

I’m sure DON will appreciate this since he likes examples so much πŸ˜‰ –

    – So Don, this one is for YOU, and ALL those reading this blog also. Here we go! –

    – “JOSEPH, how was your thankgiving? Did you eat turkey? You did? Hmmm… Did you become a turkey (even though sometimes, I think you behave like one)? πŸ˜‰ What happened to the turkey you ate? –

    – Do you know how much gastric juices your stomach produced to digest it? How much hydrochloric acid? How much bile your liver produced to emulsify the fat of the turkey? How much insulin your pancreas produced to metabolize the sugar of the cranberry sauce?”
    Everyone’s response is: ” NO!” –

    – I say: “Did it get done?” – “Yes?” – “WHY?” (then most say my body did it). –

    – I say: ” If you stuff a turkey inside a corpse, will its body digest it?” (they say no) –

    – Then I say: “WHAT DID IT FOR YOU?” (in my office most will say innate intelligence and those WHO say I don’t know, I tell them it is the innate intelligence of their body). –

    – Then to bring all this into focus I say: –
“WHO I choose to be for you, Joseph, is to remove blockages to the FLOW of mental impulses of your nerve system so that ALL these organs work right for you.” –

    – Believe it or not, most say: ” THANK YOU!” Then, for the finale, I say in a louder tone of excitement (try visualizing that Joseph)… –

    – “AND that’s WHY you get your spine checked EVERY WEEK!!! Will I see you NEXT WEEK?????” –

    – Now, if YOU were my practice member, WHO would you choose to BE with your answer to my question?

    – By the way, ALL of last week I’ve said this over and over and over and over and over and over to ALL to the practice members ( yes, I was sensitive in my creativity to vegetarians, I used broccoli and yams as examples). It took ONLY a couple minutes and we had fun! πŸ˜‰

    • Yes, more examples. This was a great one.
Liked the “Who I choose to be FOR YOU..” part and the invitation “Will I see you NEXT WEEK”
Vegetarian option is great too but I prefer chicken over turkey though.

Dr. Lessard,I can see some people assuming that this means their organs will work properly. Am I alone on this one?
If they ask, do you go into a discussion on LOM and time?

    • Claude,Steve’s original question you answered yes but did not give examples as I requested (although the Thanksgiving story was interesting, I don’t see how it shows ii overcoming ui and directly affecting ed. body.

      Steve,

Your original question was, can ii bypass ed and stimulate voluntary muscles directly. The answer is yes.

      • Joseph,

Steve did not say ii overcoming ui and directly affecting ed.body. He posted 11/28/12, 11:02 pm about “ii overcoming ei and stimulating voluntary muscles directly”. The answer is yes. –

        – Shivering is an example. Have you ever attempted to stop the shivering process of some of your voluntary muscles? How about holding your breath for a long time? Eventually ii will have you let go of the voluntary muscles that you are holding your breath with… in order for your body not to be damaged. –

Ps: The thanksgiving example was in answer to the question of how to say the chiropractic story over and over again to as many people as possible in as many different ways as possible. Not ii overcoming ei. πŸ˜‰

        • Thanks for the answer Claude, Holding the breath is an interesting example. I’m not sure about the shivering one. I’ve forgotten what muscles are involved in shivering (erector pilae?). In both examples the question is whether ii is overcoming educated body or just restoring ii function to innate body that has been ovecome by educated intelligence function. In the case of jumping in a pool, good educated, in the case of a child’s temper tantrum (holding their breath), bad educated. Interesting discussion. I would like to hear some other’s thoughts on this as well as more input from you.

          • Joseph,

            Excellent question! –

            – The function of innate intelligence is to adapt universal forces and matter for use in the body so that all part of the body will have coordinated action for mutual benefits (pri.23). –

            – The function of intelligence is to create force (pri.8). Universal intelligence creates universal forces which have no solicitude for structural matter. The function of force is to unite intelligence and matter (pri.10). With living matter, we are dealing with innate forces (which are universal forces adapted by ii) and they maintain the material of body in active organization which is the mission of innate intelligence (pri.21). –

            – We can reasonably deduce that innate intelligence ALWAYS adapts universal forces for coordinating body functions for harmonious actions (pri.32). And this will take place whether the universal force comes from outside or inside the body. –

            – A while ago, we added to our lexicon by introducing the term educated universal force (EUF) which are forces used by educated intelligence educated functions. I mentioned that these EUF have limited intelligent direction as compared to IF which have unlimited intelligent direction. I also said, that is WHY our chiropractic thrust is an EUF that will be adapted by the ii of the body of the practice member and produce the adjustment. –

            – We can reasonably deduce that EUF carry with them a certain amount of “deconstruction” (pri.26) due to the limitation of matter of the physical brain. On the other hand, IF carry with them 100% reconstruction ( read organization of matter) due to the innate intelligence being 100% (pri.22) and always normal (pri.27). –

            – Does it matter if the EUF comes from an adjustic thrust, holding your breath due to tantrum, holding your bladder on the turnpike or forcing your eyelids to stay open? I think NOT. These EUF carry with them deconstruction and the innate intelligence of the body will eventually engaged in the aspect of “reconstruction” overriding the educated intelligence in adapting these EUF. Innate intelligence thereby, (as you stated in your question) is RESTORING innate function to innate body.

  5. Don,

    WHICH do you prefer? –

1- Go through life WITH subluxations with limitation of matter and limitation of time?

2- Go though life WITHOUT subluxations with limitation of matter and limitation of time?

  6. To examine the spine, find the areas of vertebral subluxation, correct subluxation thereby creating a situation in which the tissue and functions is normal again and true health is what we should see.

The objective of chiropractic is to LACVS for a full expression of the innate FORCES of the innate intelligence of the body. PERIOD!-

      – Now Don, does that mean that your organs will work better under chiropractic care?
