Watch out for the ice. It’s a little late to check your slipping when you’re between heaven and earth.

So if you haven’t Checked, then Educated Int and LOM pose an imperfection that must be attended to
by singing this song:
That’s life (that’s life), that’s what all the people say
You’re ridin’ high in April, shot down in May
But I know I’m gonna change that tune
When I’m back on top, back on top in June
I said that’s life (that’s life), and as funny as it may seem
Some people get their kicks stompin’ on a dream
But I don’t let it, let it get me down
’cause this fine old world, it keeps spinnin’ around
I’ve been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate, a poet, a pawn and a king
I’ve been up and down and over and out and I know one thing
Each time I find myself flat on my face
I pick myself up and get back in the race
That’s life (that’s life), I tell you I can’t deny it
I thought of quitting, baby, but my heart just ain’t gonna buy it
And if I didn’t think it was worth one single try
I’d jump right on a big bird and then I’d fly
I’ve been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate, a poet, a pawn and a king
I’ve been up and down and over and out and I know one thing
Each time I find myself layin’ flat on my face
I just pick myself up and get back in the race
That’s life (that’s life), that’s life and I can’t deny it
Many times I thought of cuttin’ out but my heart won’t buy it
But if there’s nothin’ shakin’ come this here July
I’m gonna roll myself up in a big ball a-and die
Principles supply a solid ground where one is less lightly to slip.
Loss of focus, and discipline may lead one to more slippery ground where one is more apt to tumble.
Part of the skill in becoming a good skater is learning how to fall without getting hurt. That takes practice, experience and most of all the drive (dream) and bravery to go for it. Lessons, practice and coaching helps.
I know. I am a skater and it’s great to dance, to spin, to jump, to coordinate and most of all, to express
I wonder how many Chiros are in between heaven and earth, not knowing that they have slipped, maintaining their near sided viewpoint, their mixing, etc. kind of suspended their. Unaware of what has happened?
Perhaps they get a foot down, to break the fall. Either through discipline or awareness, or remembering a dream they once had, of being a principled chiropractor?
Or they Hit the ground, never get up, quit, or perhaps get some sense into them if they haven’t exceeded their limits of LOM and fight to stand up tall again, remembering that they have to learn what slipping is, how to check, and how to fall and get up.
Everything takes time
It’s a matter of the educated intelligence evolving toward an ADIO worldview in a world saturated with OIBU. The educated intelligence of the chiropractor has to see BEYOND its own survival needs and MOVE toward something BIGGER than itself. It’s called growing up! And, alas many NEVER grow up as growing up involves suffering and one of the primary needs of survival, is to avoid suffering at all cost. Catch 22? Educated intelligence is now stuck? Well, the educated intelligence of the chiropractor is invited to accept the major premise as chiropractic’s START point and the chiropractic objective as its END point. It reveals the AUTHORITY of the 33 principles of chiropractic’s basic science! To accept this NEW view, frees the educated intelligence of the chiropractor and may MOVE it beyond its own primordial needs of survival toward a NEW level of thinking, to guard the “sacred trust” and INCLUDE everyone squandering on ALL the chiropractic objective. –
– Let’s us, together without condemnation, tell the story over and over and over and over again in as many creative ways as doable to EVERYONE ( including mixers!). It may just transFORM, our own educated intelligence by MOVING it toward a NEW level of thinking. In our culture, there is a cliché that says, “practice makes perfect”… it is true that it does take time… Joseph mentioned last week that, “it is not a one shot deal”… so, perseverance is called to action. –
