  1. The chiropractic rationale seems conflicted
On one hand it expresses an open assessment:
“The body works better without nerve interference and heals itself, within the limitations of time and matter.”
No limits, no quantifications are listed.
On the other hand the next statement does pose limits:
“It does it a little better without vertebral subluxations.”
How do we know it does it a “little bit” better?
Maybe it’s alot better. Maybe it’s somewhere in between?
    I think it should say
“It does it better without vertebral subluxations.” That is more accurate.
Particularly because we have to sell it for $$$.
I mean, saying to someone, you should exercise, and then they do, might offer more benefit to their healing then a little bit better by receiving an adjustment(s)??
    Am I missing something?
    And that’s FREE

    • David, first no qualifications are listed except nerve interference, (the only limitation of matter that is uniquely of concern/objective to the chiropractor-the rest of the LsOM are the concern/objective of medicine) Second, “a little better” emphasizes the small part the chiropractor plays in the restoration of the expression of intelligence through matter. (I don’t know how we established a price in $$ for that service, I couldn’t in my 46 years in practice.)
We only: 1.introduce a universal force, but even a fall down the steps could do that.
2.The innate intelligence takes that (more or less) educated universal force and creates an adjustment.
      3. It (ii) by use of muscles, moves the bone,
      4. (ii) restores the right relationship between bone and nerve system.
      5. (ii) restores the expression of intelligence through matter.
      6. (ii) creates new tissue to bring about healing.
#s 2 through 6, we don’t even have any say/control over. Read BJ’s essay “A slip on the sidewalk is a small thing..” I do agree, however, “It does it better without vertebral subluxations. That (statement) is more accurate.” Not “because we have to sell it for $$$” but because “we never know how far reaching….” Thank you
