Reggie’s explanation (in 1st semester philosophy) was that it “went back to” the intelligence of the universe. That is a strictly chiropractic philosophical answer. It is not a theological answer, because in theology the soul, at least in part, encompasses the educated brain (animals have an educated brain but no soul) . So while it may satisfy our chiropractic philosophy as Reggie correctly asserted, it would not satisfy a theological explanation. Reggie did not address theological explanations/religion. he correctly addressed the matter. Because a corpse is universal matter, it could logically be said to satisfy the major Premise (P#1), even when it becomes, is broken down into its simplest chemical components.
