Q&A # 49 Vaccination and Research

Why do many chiropractors decry vaccination which is apparently done based upon legitimate research? Is it because:
A. Research as a whole is not legitimate.
B. That particular research was not legitimate.
C. All research ignores unknown yet important variables that are essential aspects of our chiropractic philosophy.
D. All of the above.

  1. Although vaccination is a medical issue and typically not an OC concern IMHO the process of vaccination includes all three stresses, chemical, physical and mental.

    • Recently I went to a medical school graduation (family)
One of the speaker’s speech consisted of – The eradication of polio from the world!

He also mentioned the mission of medicine – To eradicate all disease.
Interesting. There it was, right in front of me

      Made me start to think.
I just went thru the 600 lb Gorilla post (good one)
      Now I’m thinking more.

Read a blue book – Dr Joe Strauss >> Still Higher Ground…
Talks about Big Ideas, Big Motivations – Pride being of a Chiropractor.

A sick and diseased world (OI)
An unhealthy and metaphysically challenged world (IO)

Vaccination? I don’t have an answer for this.
Polio? Devastation? Suffering? OI methods have contributed greatly
      yes/no ??

It’s an old issue, an old debate, an old medical bashing debate, and
yet, bright, very bright minds on the mission to eradicate disease. Arrogant and egotistical people, some, but dedicated and I’d say
      well intentioned, but WRONG?

Polio? >> only an OI construct will remove this STILL devastation in the world?

I”m just a little ole country Chiropractor (feel small), and Innate Intelligence is philosophically – HUGE!, the HUGEST!

and I sit, and think, day to day, insecure, trying to CHECK.
As I read posts from this blog, I see that others have had their
dealings with the world of medicine, OI therapeutics. I am not alone.
and yet, I am confused, or feel, bullied, no backbone.
      Philosophically I feel, I know I’m stronger.

But that line, to commit to ADIO and stay grounded in it.
and here, I went to a very prestigious medical graduation.
Smart kids! Really smart. Young Doctors.
and the speech is on the eradication of Polio.!!!!

      Wholly Molly. It’s a quagmire.
Anyway, I want to say C but my LEARNED to be UNLEARNED nags me to say E, shamefully. Just being honest. Now tell me I’m not alone. Tell me I’m getting closer, Tell me it’s a tightrope Dave.

      Tell me something

      • David,

ALL is well… ALL is well… EVERYTHING is in a mess and ALL is well. Strange paradox isn’t it? Tragically, most people don’t get to see that. They never get to see, what YOU choose to see… that ALL is well… Yep! It is you WHO can choose to BE at peace. –

        – AMAZING isn’t it? –

        – Carry on. ADIO. đŸ˜‰

        • What if a ball n chain are on your leg, and you’re dragging it around,
All is Well? How do you get the chain off, the lock open?

With things that there are only unknown decisions to make like
          right/wrong good/bad adio/oibu glass half full/glass half empty
          moving forward/moving backward

Make the right choice?? that is you have a choice??
FREEDOM to choose. TURN OFF THE TV SET!!!!
SAY NO TO OI AND YES TO IO???

          • It does get very cerebral? The heart says one thing and the mind says something else?? Difficult to exercise ones choosing abilities

    • The answer to this post is E
Chiropractors were taught to decry vaccination. Chiropractors as a group are like sheep, just like any other group. The group said bad so Chiropractors say Bad. Besides, Vaccination is a health issue, a disease issue, a medical issue and has nothing to do with Chiropractic persae.
