Here is the cause of the whole collapse and huge blunder of this generation. We have mixed up two different, opposite things. Progress should mean that we are changing the world to reflect our vision. It has come to mean, at this time, that we are changing our vision. – G.K. Chesterton (paraphrased)
Are we making true progress in chiropractic?
Unfortunately our progress is very slow. I believe that is largely due to the fact that the schools don’t teach what chiropractic is all about. Many chiropractor’s foundations are shaky. How do you relay your vision to the world if you don’t even know what your vision is??
Dear Dr. Strauss,
What is, in your opinion, the percentage of chiropractors who accept the Major Premise of chiropractic?
Dear Dr. Lessard (what’s with the formality stuff?)
I would say that the percentage of DCs who accept the Major Premise is about 92.5%. Statistics tell us that 85% of people believe in God . So any theist or deist would accept ui by deduction: If there is a God then He is intelligent and any principle He created would be intelligent. Probably half of atheists would also accept ui by reason (Induction). That leaves 7.5% who are strict empiricists (don’t accept anything they cannot perceive through their senses), or rationalist (who start with an atheistic premise and cannot deduce anything more than a naturalistic viewpoint), and of course medical doctors (just kidding!, well maybe not totally kidding).
Well, Joseph,
Why not starting here where 92.5% of chiropractors agree? Let ALL of us TOGETHER deduct from here the other 32 principles and see how far down we can go in agreement… Perhaps with reason and logic, we might be surprised? Your thoughts?
