A naturalistic world view promotes more than just Darwinism in the biological realm. It promotes an anti-authority viewpoint, no law but survival of the fittest. This allows science and the individual to enter into the foray of changing and “evolving” the species with just as much authority as anyone else. They can genetically engineer people or any living organism. This of course is in conflict with the chiropractic world and life viewpoint that sees the innate intelligence as the authority in the body and in the natural law of life. I appreciate your optimism Jim. That’s why we old, jaded dinosaurs hang around you young guys. I remember asking Reggie once, how many people would buy our ADIO lifesyle. I was dumbfounded by the low percentage he gave me. It sure was far from “the majority of people”. I believed I could increase that percentage. Here it is 40 years later and my figures are a little lower than his but regardless of how many accept it, we just keep on keeping on.
