At times I probably have misunderstood aspects of Palmer’s philosophy and as a result perhaps misinterpreted some of the traditional chiropractic approach. On other occasions I am convinced that some of his philosophical conclusions or applications of the philosophy do not reconcile with the philosophical standard, the 33 principles which B.J. was primarily responsible for developing and for their communication to us. It is more important that B.J. (and each one of us) is consistent with those 33 principles than that I am consistent with him.
The principles are greater than the principal.
