Certainty

According to outside-in/human viewpoint thinking, there is no certainty, there are no absolutes, no laws or principles. How can a thought process, a world and life viewpoint, or so-called “enlightenment” give peace, joy or happiness based upon the knowledge that there is no certainty? Perhaps that is supposed to make us feel better but what about death and taxes? Thank you, but I’ll keep my faith, 33 principles and other laws of the universe and laws of life.

  1. Hey Joe,
Contrary to the opinion of some, outside-in folks are not all lawless, unprincipled bafoons. I would think they accept gravity with absolute certainty. Somethings are just not concrete. Look at politics and religion, they can’t all be right, or wrong. Your opinions may change as you experience more or learn more. Sometimes it takes a new way of thinking, such as DD Palmer looking outside the box, to find a more correct interpretation to the commonly accepted paradigm. I however am suspicious of those that “know” it all.
