Cellular Intelligence-Q&A No. 45

  1. Just showing my ignorance, but, who said there is no “cellular intelligence”? My understanding is : “The amount of intelligence for any given amount of matter is 100%, and is always proportional to its requirements.” Granted that cells from a larger organism have a hard time surviving outside of that larger organization, but, in my understanding, are individually alive regardless.

    • On the biological level it appears obvious to me that the individual cell is alive (assimilation, elimination, growth, reproduction, adaptability) which indicates a cellular level “innate intelligence”. It seems to me that if the individual cell, tissue, structure, organ, loses communication with the next level higher, or above, innate intelligence of the organism, then there becomes a condition of “dis-ease” which over time will become recognized and named as a “disease”, “condition” or “syndrome”.

So, my job is to find the type of interference I am trained to and do the best I can to remove or reduce that interference. Makes sense to me.

(disclaimer: this has not been edited or reviewed so could easily be perceived as confused đŸ™‚

    • Dan,because BJ never mentioned cellular intelligence and Reggie who taught its existence but never wrote about it (to my knowledge) some of my critics have suggested that I made it up and it does not exist. Their argument is that Prin. #7 which you quoted refers only to ui which is always exactly what is needed, otherwise the matter would cease to exist. Obviously, I do not agree with that position, just stating it. These are some of the same people who personify ui and ii.

        • However, I disagree that the sperm cell is not part of the body. It may not STAY in the body for its entire life (though it also may), but it is a part of the living body, produced for the reproduction and adaptation of that individual organism.

          • Dan, when does the carrot or steak that you eat become part of the body? When does the ovum stop being part of the body? Are you saying that a sperm cell is forever part of the father’s (or grandfather’s or Adam’s) body? Are you mixing your chiropractic philosophy and your theology?(no offense intended.)

  2. If I remember correctly, BJ wrote that Innate Intelligence (OTB) “began” at birth. Until that time we were developed by the II of the mother. Could the seed be a product of the father’s II? We do know that it will only last a few days if it does not fertilize the egg.
PS. For all the women’s libbers, one might also ask if the ovum is a living entity and does it posses a level of Intelligence? (was that un-PC of me?) I only ask because we tend to think of the sperm as motile (aggressive) and the ovum as receptive (passive).

  3. What wiggles the tail of the sperm? Universal forces of the host organism perhaps. Is the sperm a “Living thing?” Does it possess the the “evidences of life,” Asssimiltion, Excretion, Adaptability, Growth & Adaptation’ on it’s own?Perhaps it only becomes a “Living Thing” after it is joined with an ovum. -The answer to ejaculatory prayer?

    • Jack, first welcome to the blog. It is indeed an honor to have such a well-known and respected chiropractic philosopher participating on this blog. you are raising some interesting questions. First, the 5 signs of life are, As, Ex, Ad, Gr and Reproduction,> I know you know that and just inadvertently duplicated the sign (adaptability and the process (adaptation). It is my understanding that any single sign of life is indicative of the organism being alive. The seeds found in the Egyptian pyramids after 1000’s of years that reproduce after being planted, were alive all that time. Only life begets life. Only a living sperm cell can create a blastocyst, INO. More discussion would be welcomed. Lastly, I have heard of imprecatory prayer (strictly Old Testament, eg. Psalm 51 if I remember correctly) but not “ejaculatory prayer”, ( sounds interesting)

      • Thank you Joe, myself and all of the patients I have ever adjusted thank you for holding your light high enough to illuminate the philosophy of Chiropractic (Chiropractic Philosophy) for all of our generation to see and be inspired to a higher ideal. The world is a better place because of your presence in it. My thot would be that perhaps a 1000 year old seed could still have the innate components to reproduce life but that 1000 year old sperm on its own would be no good to anybody.

        • My “Thot ” on “ejaculatory prayer” is that it is the unbridled (perhaps innate) response or release to a moment of Grace,. eg: “Oh God” or “Thank you Jesus.” but I digress.
